Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) May 1, 2006 -- MarketPro, the United States' leading executive recruiter for marketing, advertising, and communications professionals, named Denise Grey as Senior Vice President and General Manager. In this role, Grey will be responsible for the management and growth of existing client relationships, while identifying and launching new initiatives further expanding MarketPro's robust service offerings to clients.
«Denise is an experienced marketer bringing more than 18 years of marketing and sales experience to MarketPro,» said Bob Van Rossum, president of MarketPro. «Having previously served as a Chief Marketing Officer, she clearly understands the business challenges CMO's face when looking for new talent. By adding Denise to our team, we gain an industry veteran with traditional and Internet-related marketing experience at successful organizations such as Interland, Verso Technologies and AT&T. She is a wonderful fit for our executive management team and I look forward to working closely with her as we expand the services we offer to our clients.»
As former Vice President of Marketing, Sales and Business Development for Interland, a leading provider of websites and online services for small and medium-sized businesses, Grey crafted and led the execution of the strategic marketing plan and supporting go-to-market strategies delivering predictable, organic revenue growth from the expanding $12B Online Business Services market. The results included new customer and partner revenue growth, lower cost of acquisition, higher customer lifetime value and lower customer churn leading to the first EBITDA positive annual results in the company's history.
Prior to Interland, Grey served as Chief Marketing Officer of Verso Technologies, a global provider of carrier and enterprise voice over IP (VoIP) network solutions. While there, she developed and executed the go-to-market strategy for entrance into the $4B VoIP equipment and software market which required the development of a unified product development strategy and the repositioning of standalone products into a single, functionally integrated product line with a single-market focus. The resulting operational savings funded execution of supporting branding and marketing programs.
Grey is a founding member of Atlanta's Chief Marketing Officer Roundtable and was a finalist in TAG's 2000 Women in Technology Award. She graduated from Georgia State University with a Master of Science degree in Computer Information Systems and Information Technology.
«With the tremendous changes and growth potential in the marketing recruiting industry, MarketPro is well positioned to capitalize on the talents of over 85,000 marketing professionals in its talent pool,» said Grey. «I worked with Bob and MarketPro, while on the client side, and got first hand experience with their placement of superior talent and unmatched support. My management style has always been that of a coach and mentor, now I'm excited about the opportunity to get to do this for hundreds of marketing professionals.»
