On Command Video Corporation, a leading provider of in-room interactive entertainment for the hotel industry and its guests, announced that the company will be using Sony Electronics' new Silicon X-tal Reflective Display (SXRD(TM)) 4K projector in the On Command theater at HITEC 2006 in Minneapolis.


The Sony SXRD projector displays 8.8 million pixels of resolution, which is four times more resolution than high definition home theater systems. Numerous movie theaters across the United States are installing this projector to provide movie goers the ultimate in digital cinema viewing. This advanced projector will be used to feature On Command's high definition movie and theater presentations on a 20' x 11' theater screen.
