Pure Technologies Ltd., TSX-V: PUR: announced today that it has received notice to proceed on a contract for the supply and installation of a SoundPrint(R) AFO fibre-optic pipeline monitoring system for a water agency in the Eastern United States. The system will monitor a 7-kilometre length of large-diameter prestressed concrete pipeline. Pure is also providing P-Wave(R) electromagnetic inspection services to the agency under an existing contract. The combined value of the P-Wave(R) and AFO contracts is in excess of $750,000. Pure will provide monitoring and technical support services under a separate multi-year contract.
Also, on May 3 last, Phoenix (AZ.) City Council also approved the award of a contract to Pure of US $300,000 for the provision of P-Wave(R) inspection services over the next two years.
