With quick-charge functionality giving three hours of battery life in just three minutes, Sony's new Walkman MP3 digital music players offer one of the fastest battery recharges on the market. The new Walkman MP3 player also boasts an unrivalled playback facility, with up to 28 hours playback when using the ATRAC3 format or 27 hours with MP3 format, based on Lithium-ion rechargeable batteries.
The new Walkman MP3 player has built-in flash memory, organic EL display, time/calendar display and FM tuner and comes in three models - the NW-E002, featuring 512 MB (megabytes) capacity; the NW-E003, featuring 1 GB (gigabytes) memory; and the NW-E005, featuring 2 GB storage. The NW-E003 and NW-E005 models are available in lime green, violet, pink and silver. The NW-E002 model is available in pink and silver.

The Walkman MP3 player is compatible with most commonly used digital music formats, like MP3, ATRAC and unsecured WMA files. It offers easy download capabilities by direct connection through the USB (universal serial bus) port. Each player comes with the latest SonicStage 3.4 software version for easy music management and transfer of listeners' favourite tracks.
The Walkman MP3 player offers a new range of optional accessories, including neck strap headphones, protective case, and an armband case for listeners on-the-go; all available from the end of this month.
