today that the GSA had extended invitations to Designer Appliances, Inc. to
participate in two presentation events.
The First is a Vendor presentation day on December 8, 2005 during a Section
508 Coordinators Training Conference in Gettysburg, PA. Vendors will be
given the opportunity to present their products to explain and validate
their compliance to conference attendees. Section 508 coordinators, of
which there are over 150 listed on the GSA Website, are locate in all
Government Agencies as a part of a program to help Government Procurement
Officers meet compliance requirements.
The second event is an Assistive Technology Showcase taking place on
December 15, 2005 at the GSA Central Office in Washington, DC. Designer
Appliances, Inc. will be the sole presenter throughout the day that will
feature the Virtually Hands Free mousing system, which is Assistive
Technology for persons with disability. This includes persons with
Arthritis, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and other hand impairments.
